Writings on the Wall - WELCOME BACK!
It’s my ugly Japanese Handwriting. Song lyrics. Jan ako magsisimula. Every night kakantahin ko, hehehe. Practice na rin pang karaoke.
I have no more excuse to fail the Nihongo Test this time.
I have a lot of excuses for failing the JLPT last year. Though I am 3% away from the passing score, my excuses were: 1st, I only took 6 months of free classes at the office before the exam. I said that it was only 2 hours a day, twice a week, sometimes once, sometimes none at all.. I said that it was difficult to memorize while you’ve got loads of work to do blah blah blah; 2nd, since it was the listening part that really pulled my score down. I reasoned out that I’m in the Pinoy town, there’s no way you can put into use what ‘ve learned in the free Nihongo classes.
Now, I am here. I’ve got the natural environment to help me. Though I failed to submit an application for the JLPT this December (because of some stupidity), I see that it’s a nice opportunity still, coz that gives me more than a year to prepare. But now I’m aiming for the higher level. That’s oh-optimism…
I started reviewing again grammar lessons etc. But I’ve got to widen my vocabulary first. This time, it’s 1000 words, and 300 kanji. Haay good luck. I remember what one manager said in his chorei last year, “One Kanji a Day…” So that’s what I am doing now. Unfortunately, most of the time, since the arrival of MACY, I felt lazy to study…
Haay. I had stopped studying since I learned that JLPT Application was already over for this year. But I’ve got to study for next year, and IT MUST begin NOW, so I won’t cram again. Here’s a good advice by one of my colleagues here, learn a Japanese Song. And there I was, I picked one good good song. Well, it’s a very familiar song, para ngang classic na sha. For sure alam niyo to. Maganda. Kahit paulit ulit mong pakinggan.
